NZ Mountain Safety Council has created a video guide for the Mount Taranaki Summit Route. While this might appear to be a simple day walk, this is definitely NOT the case. The video takes you through the required preparations to make it home safe.
This is a glimpse of the flatlands that surround Mt. Taranaki, seen through the trees of the thickly forested Veronica Loop Track.
The forest is thick on Veronica Loop Track as it approaches its junction with Holly Hut Track.
