Horses along the way also seem to enjoy the Jones Creek Trail.
Not-so-distant herds of bison can be seen from the Lower Talkington Trail.

Consulting the map at the junction of the Jones Creek and Roundup Trails.
Buffalo move through the park, sometimes using the trails. Use caution around buffalo herds, especially if young buffalo (red dogs) are present or the males are in the rut. Since these buffalo were hanging out on the trail, I turned around.
