The trial ends at the riverside where you can enjoy putting your feet in the water and enjoying a break from the heat.
As the trail follows the river, if you look up, you can get an idea how steep the canyon walls are in the area. This gives you an idea of how steep the walls are in Black Canyon of the Gunnison.
