Spring wildflowers bloom along the Chestnut Top Trail.
We found a nearby shallower area to cross the river. Ended up being about waist-high in June. Watch for snakes in the rocks, too.

The trailhead for the Chestnut Top Trail is well marked and easy to follow.
Lovely flowers.
The Little River runs along the road that leads into the park. The trail climbs along the road and the river before it turns deeper into the forest.
Moss and ferns surround the base of the tree. The damp area along the trail offers good wildflower viewing in the spring.
