The trail passes through a large burned out section. You can see the forest regenerating as you pass along the trail.
The Lehamite Creek Trail departs the Upper Yosemite Falls to North Dome Trail and begins climbing toward Tioga Road.
A small feeder creek feeds into Lehamite Creek. Lush vegetation is seen in areas where there is water, as well as mosquitoes.
