Turn left at the saddle between Mount Democrat & Cameron. Silver was first discovered here in ca. 1874. Abandoned mines are a regular feature. Stay on the marked Trail!
Above the saddle of Mount Cameron, this is your view up towards the false summit of Mount Democrat. Keep going and that snowfield dip down is your way up to the Summit. (Farther than it looks, closer than it appears). Pay Attention! now to the weather!
