Love Mt. Ralston, 90% dirt trail, lots of shade, well marked and maintained route. Lots of back for the buck on this hike a surprisingly spectacular view. You won't be disappointed.
A relatively short but strenuous hike towards the Ralston Peak led to a rewarding view of the Desolation Wilderness. Among the visible landmarks from this picture are Mt. Tallac, Lake Tahoe, and the Fallen Leaf Lake.
