The weather was getting iffy by this part of the trail. I was debating on whether to go inside this and wait it out. Pretty cool!
This is about mile 4 on Segment 13 just before you descend the switchbacks to Avalanche Trailhead. The lake is called Rainbow Lake. You'll see it again when you start climbing the other side.
