Coming down Madison on the Appalachian Trail, towards the AMC Hut. Adams is in the background, with Washington farther back.
Finally reached the alpine zone, this trail was pretty relentless! These are pretty long miles but keep in mind I also hiked this trail in the middle of a hail/thunderstorm. We had to turn around with only 1000 feet to the summit, but we're coming back!
