This section contains milepost 400 of the AZT. I thought this was kind of cool.
Be aware of the dangers of falling trees. I watched one fall in a light breeze. This one had fallen across the trail very recently, possibly since the last hiker passed by.
One of many fascinating rock formations along the Little Saddle Mt. Trail.
It seems that Windsor Spring is totally dry at the end of September. Just moss and rocks.
We are headed to the saddle on the right.
Look at the new spring box at Chilson spring. No water anyplace else nearby, but the spring box was full. Thanks to the team that recently installed this.
