This section contains milepost 400 of the AZT. I thought this was kind of cool.
This area was subject to fire a few years ago. Although there are few large trees remaining, the snags can be quite beautiful.
One of many fascinating rock formations along the Little Saddle Mt. Trail.
It seems that Windsor Spring is totally dry at the end of September. Just moss and rocks.
We are headed to the saddle on the right.
Look at the new spring box at Chilson spring. No water anyplace else nearby, but the spring box was full. Thanks to the team that recently installed this.
