The views from the top are stunning. You can see into Maine and New Hampshire from the top. You can see the lakes and mountains that the area is known for.
You can see the farmland below as the fields stand out against the evergreens.
Toward the top of the trail, ferns, lichen, and mushrooms become more prevalent as it is more damp up there.
Birch trees can be seen shedding along the side of the trail.
