This shows trail connecting with 6 & 20 Connector which may be 1 of 2 easier ways to use getting back to Jones Gap then rest of Pinnacle Pass on the right, a little further, becomes challenging again before end / joining Rim of The Gap in about 3.5 miles.
Before Rainbow Falls is reached, you'll come across these falls about halfway up the trail and makes a nice rest stop to watch and listen.

Before Rainbow Falls is reached, you'll come across these falls about halfway up the trail and makes a nice rest stop to watch and listen.

Rainbow Falls Trail is steep in sections with stairs cut into the rocks but a nice trail and will go right below a granite face with another small stream as you get closer to the falls.
Reward after a climb up Rainbow Falls Trail to find Rainbow Falls, view from the lower level.
Sometimes the Rainbow is more than just falls, it can also be from some of the fall leaves, either way, probably why it is called Rainbow Falls.
