The Mountain Trail is fairly wide and made of crushed rock and dirt. The trail is shaded, which makes it nice to hike in the afternoon.

The Mountain Trail is fairly wide and made of crushed rock and dirt. The trail is shaded, which makes it nice to hike in the afternoon.
At the split stay to the right if you parked and started at Whittington Park. This is the end of the West Mountain Trail.
Trailhead coming up from Whittington Park.
The dirt and gravel Whittington Trail runs underneath the shade of Magnolia and other native trees of Arkansas.
Several bridges cross the creek at various points, allowing you to change the length of your hike.
Water flows down the trail after a rainstorm.
