Summit Lake, Banner Peak and Mt. Ritter. Blue spot on left side of ridge above the lake is a tent at an outstanding large campsite.

Breathtaking beauty throughout the length of the trail. Summit lake is on the first ridge of rocks on the right. Thousand Island Lake is behind the low domes in the upper center of the picture
