The trail arrives at Valley Cove, part of Sommes Sound, where nice views of the shore and sound can be enjoyed.
The park services closes part of the trail from March - August to allow Peregrine Falcons to nest and rear their young before they re-open it.
Flowers blooms along the trail in the spring time.
The trail starts as a wide trail that makes its way through the woods.
