The trail climbs steeply through fields of wildflowers, including fireweed.
As you climb up the trail, views of the mountains and glaciers start to come into view. Fireweed can be found along the trail, adding a big of color to the scenery.
Views of the Turnagain Arm get better and better as the trail climbs higher and higher.
