The first couple miles into the run are mostly downhill.
Mt. Jefferson in the background and the ridgeline you follow to get there.
The turn. It is not marked, but you take it shortly after you start hiking to the north and are done with the downhill section.
Down in the low point of the trail.
Time the flowers right early/mid summer and you'll get a great show!
