Schilling Lake is down below, behind the trees, end of the hike.
The trail is easy to walk, not always that wide but fairly flat. Fall is a nice time of the year for kids.
The trail as it departs from the intersection with the Meadow Trail.
Sun breaks through the trees in the late afternoon along the Meadow Trail.
The dirt trail passes through groves of oak trees. Leaves add a little cushion through this area.
