The blue Santa Cruz Mountains are in the far distance. Closer, and separated from the Santa Cruz Mountains by Santa Clara Valley, is the ridge of the west side of the broad San Felipe Creek Valley. Close up is the Tamien Trail ridge with spring flowers.
