The trail breaks off to the left and climbs up the hillside so that you can get closer to the falls and have a better chance at getting to the top of the falls.
The creek floors the road in the spring. The only way across is to walk through the water, which isn't deep but your shoes will get wet!

The creek floors the road in the spring. The only way across is to walk through the water, which isn't deep but your shoes will get wet!
Nature always finds a way. You can see how the water finds its way downstream despite obstacles being in the way. Now the creek flows over the trail in order to make its way downhill.
Deer Brush encroaches on the trail, so thick that in some places you have to push through it or bushwhack. You can also see how there are downed trees and limbs, so watch where you step!
