You'll encounter outcroppings of Rock Ledges at the Start .
Coming to the Fork in the Road - Next you go left at the split to find the trailhead .
Much of the oak in the area is a haven for fungus ( Sapwood rot ) or ( Cerrena unicolor ) Wood below fungal shelves is yellowish to white, crumbly and decayed; bark around fungal shelves is killed and often falls off
As you travel along , you'll be close to the waters edge at certain points along the way
Berrys are growing in various quantities as you pass by .
Many old tree markers are still intact along the way , usually to mark a turn in the trail .
