Black bears can be seen throughout the Giant Forest. Enjoy these animals from a safe distance, and everyone will have a great day!
Even though the trail features the Dead Giant, you can get up close with other Giant Sequoias. They're everywhere!
Huckleberry Meadow sits off to the right side of the trail. In the summer, flowers can be seen blooming all around the meadow.
The trail runs next to Crescent Creek for a short distance. You may encounter animals (deer, black bears, etc) drinking from the creek during the morning or later in the evening.
The Bobcat Point Trail as it climbs up the hillside from the Sugar Pine Trail toward Bobcat Point.
