At the end of the maintained trail, you get a good view of the terminus. On a clear day the rest of the glacier and the mountain are visible.
Climbers ascend the trail through the forest towards Camp Schurman.
The trail has multiple viewpoints rewarding you no matter how far you choose to go!
One of the many cascading creeks that flow by (under) the trail.
Typical trail quality, wide and smooth for the first 1-2 miles. Water runoff features would make taking a stroller tough.
