After the ford.
Fording the river at the Bechler Meadows end of the trail (southern end). Even in August, the water was thigh-deep here.
Colonnade Falls on the Bechler River -- accessed via a short path off the main trail. Great spot to stop for a bite to eat!
The small spur trail that lead down to this Colonnade Falls viewpoint is well worth the time and effort.
