From the north end, looking east. A mixture of grass and rock.
Sandhill Loop is much dryer and more open than other parts of Big Thicket.
Great signs make navigating easy in the Big Thicket National Preserve.
There are lots of opportunities to see these bayou root things in Big Thicket.
Although Big Thicket is a National Preserve, dogs are allowed.
