#1 Connector Trail meets the Gans Creek Main Loop. It's a potentially confusing spot. South trails go to Gans Creek Trailhead and north to Wagonwheel Trailhead.
#1 Connector Trail follows along the water for a portion.
At this point, #1 Connector Trail goes east to the main loop, north to the lookout, and west to follow Gans Creek.
