As the trail passes underneath the bridge, there is beautiful bird artwork that you can enjoy.
There are a couple of benches along the French Broad River where you can enjoy the views of the river.
The trail passes underneath the bridge as it follows the shoreline of the French Broad.

The trail makes its way to a bridge that crosses the French Broad River and provides access to the Island Loop Trail.
When you get to the island, there is a picnic table where you can enjoy a snack while others play along the river side.
