There are nice views of the French Broad River, bridge, and surrounding hills from the trail.
In the Fall, the leaves on the surrounding hills and mountains are lit up in yellows, reds, and oranges.
There are a couple of benches along the French Broad River where you can enjoy the views of the river.
The trail is a singletrack dirt trail that runs through the woods.
The trail works its way through fields where birds can be seen on the shrubs, and nice views of the park surround you.
The Seven Island Loop Trail passes through the woods, providing shade during the heat of the day.
