This trail is also sometimes called the Bobolink Trail. The trail winds its way through open space along Cherryvale Road, just east of the East Boulder Recreation Center, then crosses under South Boulder road to continue South. It then winds through more open space, under Highway 36, over a well-constructed bridge, and ends at Marshall Road, which is a quiet runner neighborhood connecting easily to the Marshall Mesa trailhead.

This is great as a run in and of itself, or you can turn this into an epic day if you choose to continue south on the Marshall Mesa trails.
