Campground is open mid May - September. Trail is open year round, but road is not maintained in winter. Recreation Pass required to park at campground.

Description

This trail loops around the campground in an enjoyable 1-mile route. Great for kids, this route is well-traveled and easy to follow. The entire trail is covered with trees, and part of the trail will be within earshot of the creek.

If you are searching for a longer route, the Upper Big Creek Loop #827.1 starts at the same location.
