Dogs Leashed
Features
Views · Wildlife
The summit of Mt. Bross is technically closed to the public. This trail is entirely legal, however, and passes just below the summit.
Per the land manager, all dogs must be leashed. You'll see many dogs and few leashes.
Runner Notes
This is a relatively flat, high altitude, dirt trail scattered with rocks. An excellent run for the sure-footed and oxygen-averse.
Description
This mellow trail involves a brief descent off the summit of Mt. Lincoln before walking on a slight incline up towards Mt. Bross.
From Mt. Lincoln, turn back down the trail toward Mt. Cameron, this time angling to the left across a rocky flat area. Continue on a clear, rocky trail toward Mt. Bross. You'll eventually come to a terminus at the
Mt. Bross Trail.
Flora & Fauna
Up this high, there's not much other than rocks, pikas, and marmots.
