Runner Notes
This trail is one of the first to dry out in the spring and can be very hot on a warm day! Parts of it can be rocky.
Description
You can run this trail from either direction.
Starting from the Dillon Cemetery side, park on the right of the cemetery at the disc golf course parking lot. There is a gradual uphill from the start through the disc golf course, this section can get a little rocky, so be careful. You'll come to a 4 way intersection, take a left to continue on Oro Grande Trail. The trail has some nice rollers for the next two miles. The views to your left of the Dillon Reservoir and Buffalo mountain, and the Ten Mile range are breathtaking in any season.
You'll pass the
Tenderfoot Trail on the right around mile 2, and just past that is the other end of the trail which ends at a parking lot above Dillon Valley. Turn around and run back to the car for a five mile out and back.
