Runner Notes
The consistent grade and relatively low traffic keep the surface in good shape.
Description
Although the Primrose trail is not a destination run by any means, it does come in handy for connecting other trails or adding mileage. Starting from the top of the Strawberry Park chairlift, the wide Primrose maintenance road follows a broad ridgetop along the eastern side of McCoy Park. Pass in and out of aspen groves and run through large grassy meadows. After skirting the snowmaking reservoir, cross several ski runs and more shady bits of forest. The road ends at the top of the Arrow Bahn chairlift at the top of Arrowhead Mountain. Note: bikes are allowed on this trail.
