The Watchman Trail was created after a foothills land purchase and funding from SWIMBA. It's steep near the beginning and end. The middle section of the trail traverses open slopes and drainages. There are sections of exposure in a couple places that keep you compelled to stay on the trail. This trail can be traveled in either direction, depending on what kind of loop you want to put together.
