Description

Coxing Trail, which is marked by blue-blazes, starts at the Trapps Road and tees into the Millbrook Mountain Trail. Walking south on Trapps Road, it can be found on the left side. Follow it as it gradually ascends Millbrook Mountain. It generally follows Coxing Kill.

A key highlight of this trail is its history. It was originally used as an agricultural trail. The remains of stone fences can be seen in what was at one time cleared land used for farming. The landowners would remove the stones left by glaciers and place them in piles, or in fence rows, thus freeing up the land for their use.

Take care to be observant of the blue-blazes. It can be easy to lose your way on this trail and get lost for a time.
