There are a lot of trees down over the trail as you get closer to the end. It is not often used, so there are also a lot of prickly bushes that will scratch you up.

The trailhead is easily spotted on the southern end of Riverview, near the large green metal gate. There is a spot just south of there on the corner for parking that can fit 3 cars at most.

The trail is very easy to follow and features two power line cuts that provide nice views of south Huntsville. That last power line cut is where the trail ends. If you take the easement toward the west there is a fantastic view of the Tennessee River and the Huntsville Speedway.
