Runner Notes

A fun trail run along the ridge either up or down. Be careful of several large awkward roots in the lower section towards the North Basin Trail as well as loose rocks along the ridge.

Description

Often used as a loop with many of the other trails. I highly recommend this in a variation to the other posted Katahdin Loop. Fewer miles, but still requires a high level of fitness.

Flora & Fauna

Stay on trail and durable surfaces to minimize impact to fragile alpine plants.
