A spur loop up to the Leatherman Overlook above the Leatherman's Cave. Great view west overlooking Cross River Reservoir. On a clear day, you can see the Hudson Highlands and Bear Mountain in the distance.

A short 1+ mile loop with a rewarding view at the top after a brief trail climb.

Starts and ends on the shared section of the Red Trail and Green Trail. Many other spur and connector trails throughout the loop. On the way down from below the overlook is a short trail heading back up to the west-facing Leatherman's Cave - one of the stopping places and dwellings of The Old Leather Man from the 1860s-1880s.

Mountain Laurel near the top. On sunny spring, summer, and fall days be on the lookout for snakes sunning on the rock face of the overlook. Copperheads spotted here.
