Goat Trail runs 2.5 miles from the a spot called the three benches to Mountain Mist. The trail is entirely singletrack and is filled with roots and rocks like most every other trail on Monte Sano.

From three benches the trail heads south along the west side of one of the sinks for which the Sinks Trail is named after. Just after the sink the short Chestnut Trail branches off to your left. From here you'll see no other trails for next 1.5 miles until the Flat Rock K2 Connector. Those 1.5 miles feature some great man made stone pathways, bridges, and creek crossings.

After the Flat Rock K2 Connector, the trail starts a steady incline to its termination point at Mountain Mist intersecting with Warpath Ridge at 2.0 miles. This section is the most challenging and rocky part of the whole trail but features a lot of fun switchbacks.
