LOTS of stairs!

From the trailhead off of Via Telemaco Signorini in Riomaggiore, a short stairway down leads to a stone bridge, then to a steep stairway that climbs up through terraced vineyards, then mixed singletrack and stairs take you to the top of Corniolo Hill, between Riomaggiore and Manarola.

A short, flat segment along the ridgeline leads to the steep descent of irregular stairs/singletrack to Manarola. At Via Rollandi, turn right and down the stairs to the church square of Manarola. A fountain is located under this last flight of stairs.

This steep path leads through the vineyards of Corniolo Hill.
