Description
The trail is basically two connected loops, connecting at a single point under a highway bridge. From the trailhead, follow the river downstream (south). The wooded trail crosses back and forth across a flood berm / levy next to the White River. As you near the 465 highway bridge overhead, you'll reach the "Talking Tree," where you can loop back toward the starting point, or continue onward to the second trail loop on the other side of the highway.
The second loop is more open, in a riparian floodplain and meadow along the river.
The trail is shared with mountain bikes and walkers.
Flora & Fauna
Spring wildflowers, ducks on the river, beaver, songbirds.
