Runner Notes

This trail would be difficult with a dog. There is a section of scrambling that must be negotiated. There are also some cliffs which should be approached with care.

Description

From Lookout Trail, head west along the ridge. Very quickly you'll come to a rocky section. Take care in descending the promontory through a notch to gain a lower saddle. From there the running is significantly less technical, but there is still another climb to gain the western knob.

Great views are to be had from either end of this trail.
