Description

A beautiful run along the shoreline of ancient Lake Bonneville between Logan Dry Canyon and Providence Canyon with no net elevation change but plenty of hilly sections. It starts off with an incline from the trailhead up to a pretty level section through a small grove of trees but then drops into some ups and downs along the deer fence. This section offers great views of Cache Valley and the Wellsvilles, as well as plenty of wildflowers if done in June or July.

As you near the mouth of Providence Canyon there is another steep incline followed by a good section of downhill as you drop down into the mouth of the canyon where you get good views of Spring Creek and the cliffs in Providence Canyon. The entire route is along a well packed dirt road (doubletrack) which can get overgrown in the early spring (so wear some gaiters) but this is great by the fall.
