Be aware of other users, especially bikers and poison oak.

From Patterson Rd (600 rd.) about 1.25 miles from the trailhead at Lewisburg Saddle head downhill through several switchbacks. There are some exposed roots present, but it's mostly cruiser. After the steep trail flattens out you can exit on the 610 Rd (this will take you back to the Saddle) to the east or continue on to finish the trail where it crosses the 610 rd. Later on, Lower Horse Trail continues on the other side of the road to Jackson Creek.
