Description
Located just on the banks of Huntsman Lake, this quick trail is especially nice because the park is a bit secluded, so it doesn't get overly crowded which is a blessing in this area.
It's a loop trail that has a few branches, so there is room for interpretation in how to use this trail. The posted way is the longest way around this trail, but since it's a loop you can do it multiple times or come up along the basketball court for a shorter distance.
The park does have a playground and basketball court so depending on who is there, you might have to navigate young children or a stray ball. But that is not a reason to avoid this trail.
The trail is winding which tends to slow you down a bit, but the path is in good shape so you don't have to concentrate that hard. It runs along the banks of the lake for a good portion, which gives you good views.
