Coming from the Lakeview Trail the trail works its way around the Camp Area 1, 2, and 3 which occasionally providing sheltered views of the lake. The Fisherman's Trail branches to the right approximately .9 miles from the Lakeview Trail and offers a great view of the lake.

The trail itself is mostly mowed grass or single dirt track and has only very slight elevation changes.

The trail terminates at the lake near the furthest north camp area.
