This is a great segment in Blue Mound State Park by itself or as part of a longer trek on other trails. This trail goes through mostly dense forest. It has close access to the state park campground and also the rails-to-trail Military Ridge path that runs east-to-west on the south perimeter of Blue Mound State Park.
