From the Cam-Boh Picnic Area, head east for approximately 3/10 of a mile until you see signage and the trail juncture for the Prophecy Wash Trail, where this route begins. From here, head south. The trail is in a soft, sandy wash that is easy to follow. The wash doesn't always have abrupt edges which is nice because that allows you to view the surrounding terrain as well as various cacti populating the area.

As you get close to Golden Gate Road, the trail leaves the wash for a short distance. The trail drops back down into the wash on the east side of Golden Gate Road. As you continue working your way to the southeast on the trail, the wash begins to narrow. The trail ends at a juncture with Picture Rocks Wash trail.
