Description

This trail segment connects the trailhead to the Cowiche Mountain East Trail on the Snow Mountain Ranch west of Yakima. The trail is on an old irrigation ditch bank service road which provides views of basalt cliffs, typical Shrub-Steppe habitat, the Cowiche Creek riparian area, as well as the meadows being restored with their native grasses.

Flora & Fauna

Owls, coyotes, deer, rattlesnakes, and many species of butterflies.
